Saturday Snowboard Program
This program is designed for snowboarders
ages 6-12 that can ride Deer Run comfortably. This is a non-competitive
program. Its purpose is to develop and improve participants freestyle
skills. This will be accomplished through practice on the terrain
park, and instructions on how to use the terrain park properly.
Saturdays: Beginning January 5 - 10:00AM to
2:30PM
*lunch break 12-12:30PM. Parents of younger children need to meet
their child for lunch.
Cost: $25 daily
Winter Break Camp
This 5 day camp is during most area schools winter
break and is designed for skiers, snowboarders, and tubers still
needing organized activities and adult supervision. Participants
must be 6 years or older and be able to use their equipment unassisted.
Each day includes either a lift or tubing ticket, a morning
break with snack, lunch, an afternoon break with snack and camp
counselors to lead and direct activities.
Dates:.December 26, 27, 28 & 31
Times: 9:00AM to 4:00PM
Early drop-off 8:00 to 9:00AM (includes continental breakfast)
and/or late pick-up 4:00 to 5:30PM is $5.00 per day extra. Due
at registration time.
Tuiton: $240.00
Prorated: $75.00 per day
Ski/Board Rental: $60.00 for entire camp or $20
per day

Young at Heart
The Young at Heart ski program offers lessons to both beginner
and intermediate guests who are age 50 or older. The programs starts the first Tuesday after January 1st, and we offer lessons for beginners and intermediate skill levels. The beginner lessons
are designed for people who have never skied
to those who still feel more comfortable on our beginner slope.
Intermediate lessons are offered on the same days and guests need to be somewhat comfortable on Deer
Run, our novice slope. Each weekly lesson will have a focus, but
the level and intensity of the lesson will depend on the guests.
Sociability and comfort will be paramount.
Cost: $10.00 + the purchase of a lift ticket
Ages: 50+
Times and Day: Tuesdays, 12 pm-1:30 pm, Beginners
1:30 pm-3 pm, Intermediates
Penn State Kinesiology Classes
The Tussey Mountain Snowsports School is also pleased be providing lessons for all Penn State University students taking KINES 11, 11A & 12. The course is six weeks long, meeting once a week (class offered Monday thru Thursday & Saturdays). Full attendance is required to pass the class.
