Want to learn how to ski or ride? We've got you covered at the
Tussey Mountain Snowsports School. We provide group, private,
and semi-private classes to the general public, as well as school
group lessons for kids ages 4-18 and Penn State Kinesiology classes!
Public Group Lessons
Everyday we provide public group ski and snowboard lessons, including
tele-skiing and snowbladin. Weekend lessons are at 11AM, 1PM,
3PM, and 5PM. Weekday lessons are at 1PM, 3PM, and 7PM.

Private
lessons or semi-private (more than one person) can be scheduled
at the office. Don't forget to reward our professional ski instructors
by referring them to the office for your own private lesson!
Private Lessons
Often times it will benefit you to work one on one with a trained
instructor. When you're in a private lesson, you're instructor
can tailor the lesson specifically around your needs or interests.
Paw Prints
Non-intensive lesson and play designed to encourage a positive
attitude about snow sports. Includes lift, lesson & rental.
(Beginner Area Only)
Ages: 3-7, beginner level
Times: 9 am-5 pm or 12 pm-10 pm with 1 hour lesson
Lesson: Weekdays 1 pm
Weekends, 11 am, 1 pm or 3 pm
Price: Junior $38.00
Top of the Mountain (Learn to ski or ride Better)
Designed for more experienced skiers who still want some pointers
from an instructor. Includes lift, lesson & rental
Ages: All, intermediate-advanced
Times: 9 am-5 pm or 12 pm-10 pm with group lesson
Lesson: Weekdays, 1 pm or 3 pm
Weekends, 11 am, 1 pm or 3 pm

Terrain Park Instruction
Over the past few years, many winter sports have been increasingly
progressing in freestyle skiing and snowboarding. We at the Tussey
Mountain Snowsports School recognize the fact that this is one
of the most risk taking areas in our respective sports.
Penn State Kinesiology Classes
The Tussey Mountain Snowsports School is also pleased be providing
lessons for all Penn State University students taking KINES 11,
11A & 12. The course is six weeks long, meeting once a week
(class offered Monday thru Thursday & Saturdays), and full attendance
is required to pass the class. Consult with the Kinesiology office
