Tussey Mountain Racing Programs

Citizens League (recreational racing)
This program provides a recreational racing opportunity for any aged skier at any ability level. Race coursed vary in style from giant slalom to slalom and are set on Lower Tuscarora. Prizes are awarded in various categories. Snowboarders are welcome to join. Teams consist of six registered members

Sunday afternoons: January 22 & 29; February 5, 19, & 26

Fee: $5.00 per 2 runs
$8.00 unlimited runs over 2 hrs
$120.00 per Team



Development Program
This program is designed for skiers ages 8-14 that can ski the Utah slope in a parallel stance most of the time. Its purpose is to develop skiing abilities and racing skills, so that participants become good, solid, confident skiers. Participants must ski on parabolic (shaped) skis and bring ski poles to all practices.

Dates/Times: Tues./Thurs. 4:30 to 6:30PM
Saturday 9:30 to 3:00PM
(lunch break 11:30-12:30PM)

Start: January 3

End: February 23

Tuiton: $250.00*

*Season pass sold separately. Skier must have season pass to participate.

Deadline: December 22rd, $25 late fee.



Saturday Ski Program
This 6 week program is designed for skiers ages 6-12 that can ski Deer Run comfortably. This is a non-competitive program. Its purpose is to develop and improve participants' primary skiing skills through the use of racing methods. Participants should ski on parabolic (shaped) skis and must bring ski poles to every practice. The last practice includes a fun race and an awards ceremony.

Saturdays: January 5th-February 9th
10:00AM to 2:30PM

*lunch break 12-12:30PM. Parents of younger children need to meet their child for lunch.

Tuiton: $140.00 w/ season pass
$230.00 w/ out season pass

Deadline: December 28th, $20 late fee.



TMART
Tussey Mountain Alpine Racing Team
This program is designed for skiers ages 10-19 that can ski all the slopes at Tussey Mountain in a parallel stance using ski poles correctly. Its purpose is to perfect skiing ability and racing skills. Participants will compete in USSA races at various ski resorts in our region. The expanded race schedule includes races beyond our region and may include races in New York or other northeast states. Masters Program
This program is designed for skiers ages 21 and over that can ski all slopes at Tussey Mountain in a parallel stance most of the time. Its purpose is to develop participants into expert skiers and confident racers. Participants should ski on parabolic (shaped) skies.

Wednesdays: January 11-February 22 - 6:30 to 9:00PM

Tuiton: $125.00 w/ season pass
$245.00 w/ out season pass

Deadline: January 4th, $25 late fee.
