Rock for a Cure is a fundraiser sponsored by the Cancer Care Partnership to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Happy Valley. This event is being coordinated by volunteers from Cancer Care Partnership because they believe it's time to take action against cancer. Join this team at the Rock for a Cure event on June 10th from 5-10pm. It is a family fun event that will bring survivors, their families and our community together to celebrate and remember our loved ones while also raising money to help the American Cancer Society. The net proceeds of this event will all go to the American Cancer Society's efforts in cancer research, patient care programs, education and cancer prevention initiatives.

ROTHROCK TRAIL CHALLENGE

Part of the LaSportiva Mountain Cup Series as well as Trailrunner Magazine's Trophy Series, runners and hikers weave through tunnels of rhododendron, towering Hemlocks, blooming mountain laurel, seas of fern, and mini boulder fields. The 17.2 mile course features mostly single track trails with 3 aid stations strategically spaced about every four miles.
